Postman Pat Toys, Books, Clothing, Bags and Backpacks. Thomas The Tank Shop stocks a range of Postman Pat Products including Toys, Clothing, Books and Bags. Postman Pat was written by John Cunliffe about a postman called Pat Clifton and his adventures in the (fictional) Yorkshire village of Greendale. The animated series was originally screened in 1981. The stories follow the adventures of Pat and his black & white cat Jess as he delivers the mail through the valley of Greendale. Although he initially concentrates on delivering his letters, he nearly always becomes distracted by an issue of one of the villagers who rely on him to solve their problems.
